Western's Business Administration program explores leadership roles in business and the community, providing students with the perceptual and analytical skills necessary to make decisions and evaluate policies in business, and develop and understand social, economic, and regulatory environments. Additionally, all students earning a degree in Business Administration develop a significant understanding of management information systems and computing, and have access to a suite of business elective courses.

In response to emerging demand for cybersecurity professionals, Washington State community colleges and Western's College of Science and Engineering are working together in one of the nation's few community college-to-university cybersecurity program collaborations. Western's BS in Cybersecurity Program is a "2+2" program: Students complete the first two years of the program (90 credits) at a partner community college earning a Transfer Degree in Cybersecurity. The final two years of the program at Western enables them to complete the requirements for a BS in Cybersecurity.

Western's Education programs prepare students for teaching students ranging in age from early childhood to elementary school, with multiple program options. Choose from a certification track or non-certification option to suit your needs. Earn a Bachelor of Arts in Education as you prepare to be a teacher in a variety of settings including child care centers, public and private schools and more.
The Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) Department at Western offers a post-baccalaureate program designed to prepare students who do not have a baccalaureate degree in CSD for graduate-level study in the fields of speech-language pathology or audiology. In this concentrated study, students gain a broad understanding of the scientific and social aspects of normal and disordered speech, language and hearing processes. The post-baccalaureate program serves as a stepping-stone for those whose long-term goals include a graduate degree and professional certification in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. Applicants must have a transferable bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a major other than Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Western's Human Services major attracts students from diverse backgrounds with a strong commitment to social and economic justice, human dignity, self-determination, and the desire to facilitate change. The curriculum emphasizes community engagement and requires 260 hours of field experience that allows students to integrate theory, knowledge, and skills through work in human services organizations. Thousands of Human Services graduates are currently working in meaningful positions in nonprofit, government, and community-based services. Graduates work as case managers, advocates, grant writers, youth workers, volunteer coordinators, fundraisers, trainers, para-educators, and advocacy specialists in a variety of settings such as community organizations, schools, universities, and government agencies.
